En el área norte del territorio destacan el Río Baker en toda su extensión y su inmenso valor en torno a la biodiversidad, ámbito paisajístico e histórico cultural – elemento integrador del territorio, el Parque Patagonia y la R.N Lago Cochrane que harán parte de la Red de Parques dela Patagonia. Poco más al sur, la pintoresca localidad (y Zona típica) de Caleta Tortel y finalmente la localidad de Villa O´higgins con su espectacular glaciar (área estratégica de vinculación con el territorio argentino).
In the northern area of the territory, the Baker River stands out in its entirety and its immense value around biodiversity, landscape and cultural history – integrating element of the territory, the Patagonia Park and the Lake Cochrane National Reserve that will be part of the Network of Parks of Patagonia. A little further south, the picturesque town (and typical area) of Caleta Tortel and finally the town of Villa O’higgins with its spectacular glacier (strategic area of connection with the Argentine territory).
